In refrigeration systems based only on NH3, the current trend is to limit ammonia (NH3) loads and confine it in controlled rooms. In the event of a possible leak, for example, in work areas, these systems force the evacuation of personnel and can even attack or deteriorate the product being processed (dairy, meat, fish…).
